Trying to make sense of things by writing about them.

Vikki Chowney is a writer, heading up Reputation Online, contributing to The Really Mobile Project to indulge her inner mobile geek and trying to make sense of everything else by writing about it on Vikkichowney.com.

Before joining Centaur Media to become Editor and Community Manager of Reputation Online,  she worked as a freelancer, with recent clients including Talk Talk, Big Yellow Self Storage and WCAFI (World Clean Air Forest Initiative), as well as Contagious Magazine.

Vikki has previously written a weekly tech column for BitchBuzz.com, an independent women's lifestyle network with readers spread across the US & UK. A G20Voice blogger at the recent London and Pittsburgh Summits, her work has featured on the Global Cool blog, Mobile Industry Review, theGINlady.com and many others.

Vikki made the switch from PR to blogging and journalism, after specialising on the New Media and Digital space at Six Degrees. During her time at the tech-specific agency, Vikki created and led campaigns for Acceleration, Imagini and Netlog, as well as worked on mobile innovator ZYB and a range of B2B clients.

Prior to this, she worked on the Microsoft Partner PR Programme at Clarity Public Relations, as well as winning the company's first ever New Media account within two weeks of joining. As at Six Degrees, she helped to grow this section of the business to include web design agencies Bluhalo and Rawnet, plus Oscar-winning motion capture company OMG.

Vikki has an honours degree in Fashion Promotion & Illustration (with a specialism in PR) from The University of the Creative Arts, and is an avid supporter of charities that aim to reduce climate change.

In case you're wondering, all of Vikki's words are her own and not representative of any employer past, present or future.
